About Bouldering

Strength, Flexibility and Problem Solving

Bouldering originated as a method for climbers to practice specific moves at a safe distance from the ground. It has now evolved into its own discipline with indoor bouldering being added to the Olympic Games calender in Tokyo 2021.

The Urdd Urban Games are excited to add bouldering to our collection of events. The Urdd will be working in partnership with Tafwyl who will be bringing Welsh musicians and DJ's to soundtrack the event. New and experienced climbers are welcome to compete and take part in an event filled with climbing and music.
