Shooting hoops

3x3 Basketball was introduced at the Olympics for the first time in 2020. Shortly after, 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball featured in the 2022 Commonwealth Games for the first time. 

The Urdd Urban Games 3x3 Basketball competition, with its thrilling matches, demonstrated why this sport is rapidly growing in popularity.

Event Details

Outdoor basketball courts will be set up on the doorstep of the famous Pierhead Building down Cardiff Bay with u14, u16 competition on the 17th June and u18 competitions on the 18th of June.

Teams can have up to 4 players in the same age group
